Meet Mrs. DolanHello! I’m so happy to be your child’s teacher this year. Here’s a little bit about me.
I am a 2012 PV grad - go Spartans! I graduated from Iowa State University in 2016 with my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with endorsements in Reading and English Language Arts. During my third year of teaching, I decided to enroll in grad school, earning my Master’s in Early Childhood Education in 2021 from Northwestern College. I continued grad coursework last year and earned my Early Childhood endorsement (Birth through Grade Three Inclusive Settings) in 2022. I am a life long learner and am very passionate about continuing to learn and grow as an early childhood educator. I have a passion for creating a classroom setting that is inclusive for all of my children, and for building a classroom family where children feel loved and safe. This will be my seventh year teaching kindergarten in PV. A little bit about me: I grew up in a military family and have lived all over the country and world! As a child I moved about every two years until high school, where I attended all four years at PVHS. I am proud to now call Iowa my home. I live in LeClaire, Iowa with my husband Kevin, our puppy Murphy, and our two bunnies! (I’m an animal lover!) In my free time, I'm an avid reader - I usually have a few books going on at once. I enjoy taking care of our animals and especially taking Murphy for lots of walks. I also love traveling and exploring places I haven't been. I can't wait to be your child's teacher this year. Please contact me with any questions throughout the year! |
